Please get in touch if you would like any more information. I know it can be a big step to even consider having therapy. For many of us we have been told to `just get on with it`, to `be strong` etc.

 

Although possibly well-meaning this can cause us to feel ashamed, guilty or embarrassed for feeling how we feel which can make us feel even more isolated and worsen our problems.

Having therapy should give you a safe place to explore these difficulties and use some useful CBT exercises which can help give you a new perspective on your life and where you want to go from here. It can be painful and upsetting to go through any sort of Therapy, but we will be ready for that as it comes naturally. This is all part of the therapeutic process, and it does get better. 

If I don’t think that I am the best person to help you I will try my best to find another Therapist or service who can. It is more important that a person receives the right help and I encourage honest feedback after every session so if something isn`t working then I want to know.
